Thursday

Seminary: Studied more about Joseph Smith history. Nathaniel presented the devotional.

“You are among the best the Lord has ever sent to this world. You have the capacity to be smarter and wiser and have more impact on the world than any previous generation.”
- President Russel M. Nelsen

English: Read Harry Potter (halfway through chapter 5), discussed definition of "plot" and practiced explaining the plot of "Finding Nemo" and "The Last Jedi." (1 hour)

Music: practiced C octaves (left and right hands), learned C scale with the right hand (1 hour)

Math: did a lot of practice on scientific notation and comparing values of numbers written in scientific notation and standard form. Tremor caused trouble with keeping track of which digit he was on when trying to count over in order to convert a number from standard form into scientific notation. We found a tip that was really helpful, was to have Nathaniel hold a notecard against the computer screen and use that to slowly slide over the number to keep track of his place when counting the digits. (2 hours)

History: Stone Age, first humans emerged in Africa. (1 hour)

Work hours: 5
Cumulative: 31.5
